16. How to Save and publish your VideoScribe project?

#1. How to save a project in VideoScribe

There’re various different save options. You can save your project online or locally, and also you can export to a scribe file.

The Save button is located on the top left corner of the main editing screen.

To save a project, simply click on the Save icon, in the pop up window, type in a project name, and choose the folder it’s going to go into (you can create a new folder if there’s no existing folders).

  • Save Option #1. Save Locally.

Click the Tick button to save locally as a scribe file. If you select this, you will be able to open the scribe from the Project screen next time when you open VideoScribe.

  • Save Option #2. Save to the cloud.

What it’s going to do is copy this scribe on to your online account. This is really useful because it allows you to access that scribe on any other computer that we ‘re using or in fact any other device.

  • Save Option #3. Export to a .scribe file.

By doing this you will be able to put it on a removable storage, email it to somebody else, or import it to VideoScribe again for further editing.

#2. How to publish and Share your scribe

Now that we’ve saved our project locally or online, if you want to share it online, you will need to create a video file.

In the very top right, you will see a Publish icon. If you click on that, you will get various publishing options.

You have five different options to publish your scribe:

Download Video file, get instant share link or website embed code, publish to YouTube, Facebook, or download as a PPT file.

Here we will show how you can download a video file.

Click on the download icon, in the popup settings window, you can select a video format you like. VideoScribe allows you to download as WMV, MOV, AVI, PNG, or JPG format.

The maximum resolution you can choose to download is 1080P full HD at a highest frame rate of 50 fps.

When done, click the Tick button to export. Different video format will take different amount of time, depending on the final video quality.
